SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE! As my daughter Jackie said
“mom even when we get a pattern alpaca it’s a great
one”.
Diamond Rio is the first Rose Grey pattern born to us. When
asking other breeders if they have ever seen a Rose Grey pinto,
they say “no”. Does this make him rare? More desireable?
Would he fall into the Grey Color Class or Pinto Color Class?
Check your AOBA Show Handbook and let us know. The vote is still
out.
Diamond Rio comes from exceptional Champion bloodlines. We own
his dam, a rare Dark Rose Grey daughter of 4Peruvian Legacy
named Peruvian Charisma. She won the 2000 Grey Color Championship
in Estes Park, CO. She has also gone on to win numerous blue
ribbons on her fleece. His sire, Royal Peruvian Challenger,
also a dark rose grey, (son of 4Peruvian Chaval owned by Mary
Reed) has won several blue ribbons at the AOBA nationals and
his progeny move on to win as well.
We are very excited to show Diamond Rio when he is of
age. With his
presence and delightful personality he will certainly turn heads
when he walks into the show ring. Conformationally correct in
every way and a fleece that will WOW you in both color areas
I don't see how he can miss the winning placement.
We are offering him for sale to those that love to breed for
color, presence, and wonderful disposition.
For now, we at Mile High Alpacas look forward to seeing him
daily in our pastures. He does indeed standout not only for
his color but because of his picture perfect stance. This little
guy is a lovely pleasure to have in our herd. If there ever
was an alpaca that resembled a stuff toy he’s it. In our
opinion there is NONE more adorable!
I'll say it again, SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLE!
